In Episode IV we are introduced to the cast of characters we'll grow to love: Han, Luke, Leia, Ben and the lovable android pair R2D2 and C3PO. The Republic's only hope is the safe arrival of the R2 unit carrying the Death Star plans to the hidden Rebel base. Throw in some X-wings, a princess and a menacing figure with breathing problems and you have yourself a classic.
