... that Richard Dreyfuss held the record as youngest actor to win a Best Actor Academy Award until 2003. Richard was 30 years and 156 days old when he won for his performance in the romantic comedy The Goodbye Girl. In 2003 Adrian Brody won for The Pianist. He was 29 years and 343 days old.
