Taxi Driver Synopsis


Employed as a taxi driver, Travis Bickle (Robert De Niro) is an alienated Everyman searching for meaning on the cold streets of New York. Encountering loneliness at every turn, he goes to desperate measures to make a statement and rescue a prostitute (Jodie Foster) from her pimp (Harvey Keitel).
