The Rock Synopsis

Inexperienced in the field but highly adept at diffusing bombs, FBI Agent Stanley Goodspeed (Nicolas Cage) teams up with the mysterious but resourceful John Patrick Mason (Sean Connery) to foil the terrorist threat posed by disillusioned American General Hummel (Ed Harris.) Hummel has taken 81 terrorist hostage on Alcatraz Island and is threatening to launch missiles armed with deadly gas into the heart of San Francisco. A first-rate action thriller.
