Synopsis

There is an asteriod the size of Texas speeding towards earth and somebody has to save mankind. The government pins all the world's hopes on a misfit band of oil well drillers, lead by the charismatic duo Bruce Willis and Ben Affleck. Championed on earth by NASA Space Director, Billy Bob Thornton, and Willis-daughter/Affleck-fiance Liv Tyler, the team board space shuttles and set off for their rendevous with destiny. Action, adventure and patriotic heroism ensue.
