A Tribute to Russell Crowe

Russell Crowe - a heartbreaker, maybe, but an onscreen powerhouse, most definitely! He fought his way into our hearts in Ridley Scott's Gladiator, garnishing a Best Actor Oscar along the way. But we'll never forget his performances as Bud in L.A. Confidential, Jeffrey Wigand in The Insider and John Nash in A Beautiful Mind. Russell excels at "losing himself" in his characters and we can't wait to see what he'll take on next. Follow his career here at our Tribute to Russell Crowe.

New on DVD

Body of Lies , the latest Russell Crowe movie is now available on DVD.

Now in Theaters

Russell Crowe in State of Play, a thriller co-starring Ben Affleck and based on a popular BBC mini series is now in theaters. Here's the trailer (Shall we vote on Russell Crowe's hair? We vote no, please, no.):

What's New

We have to tell you about a wonderful opportunity for you to be in the movie Robin Hood! One of the many fabulous auction items for the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights auction is this one:

Be an extra with Robin and his Merrymen in Ridley Scott's Robin Hood starring Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett filming in London plus enjoy 3 nights at luxurious Cranley Hotel

Coming Soon

Russell Crowe is a cop investigating a brutal murder of an entire family in Tenderness. It was supposed to be released in 2008, but is not on the schedule as of now. We'll let you know when we learn more.

Russell Crowe and Nottingham director Ridley Scott are either clashing over his weight and their relationship is coming to a "cataclysmic end" (NY Post) or working together smoothly (their agent). The two have such a history together ( Gladiator, American Gangster, A Good Year, Body of Lies) we think they'll be able to keep it together and make this movie. The name of the movie is now Robin Hood and Maid Marion is . . . Cate Blanchett. We approve.
