You made have heard about this Tintin character that will be the star of the new animated movie that is Steven Spielberg's next project and wondered who is Tintin? Apparently Tintin has been one of the most beloved comic characters in Europe for seventy years. Tintin is a Belgian reporter who has had many adventures. A movie trilogy of the stories is planned based on The Adventures of Tintin. Now that all the dust has settled in the financial wrangling to get this project going, Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson are going forward but the proposed trilogy has been downsized to two movies. The first will debut in Christmas 2011.
