A Tribute to Matt Damon

For Matt Damon it wasn't the conventional way to win instant stardom, writing and starring in a movie with your childhood friend but it certainly worked. Good Will Hunting brought him an Oscar, the adulation of his fans and catapulted him on to of everyone's must hire list. Since that initial rocket like start he has built his career slowly and steadily, earning accolades as sexiest man, nicest guy and most bankable star. Sexy, nice and bankable, we think that means he has it all and so we would like to present our Destination Hollywood Tribute to Matt Damon.

New on DVD

Matt Damon's most recent movie, The Bourne Ultimatum , is now available on DVD.

Coming Soon

Matt Damon made a Fox Searchlight picture called Margaret that has seemed to disappear. People on the internet who went to a preview showing call it a very bad movie so maybe it will surface someday but right now it is in hiding. But not to worry ... we'll see Matt Damon in two films in 2009.

In the first, Matt Damon works with the director of his last two Bourne films Paul Greengrass. The movie is based on a book called Imperial Life in the Emerald City. It's set in Iraq and will be called Green Zone. Matt plays a CIA operative.

And Matt Damon will also headline the Steven Soderbergh thriller, based on the book The Informant due for release in the Spring of 2009. Matt Damon gained 30 thirty pounds for the movie.
