Since that initial rocket like start he has built his career slowly and steadily, earning accolades as sexiest man, nicest guy and most bankable star. Sexy, nice and bankable, we think that means he has it all and so we would like to present our Destination Hollywood Tribute to Matt Damon.
And Matt Damon headlines the Steven Soderbergh thriller, based on the book The Informant. Matt Damon gained 30 thirty pounds for the movie.

Matt Damon made a Fox Searchlight picture called Margaret that has seemed to disappear. People on the internet who went to a preview showing call it a very bad movie so maybe it will surface someday but right now it is in hiding. But not to worry ... we'll see Matt Damon in three films in 2009. The LA Times did a story investigating how this movie went off the rails. If you ever wondered how a project with seemingly everything going for it could go so wrong read this.
In the first, Matt Damon works with the director of his last two Bourne films Paul Greengrass. The movie is based on a book called Imperial Life in the Emerald City. It's set in Iraq and will be called Green Zone. Matt plays a CIA operative.
Even though this movie went into production long after Green Zone - Invictus (formerly knowns as The Human Factor) is being directed by Clint Eastwood. That man is fast so it may end up being released before the others. Matt Damon plays a rugby superstar who helps bring South Africa together.
The Bourne books by Robert Ludlum were a trilogy. We're pretty sure that means three. But we hear that a fourth Bourne movie is in the works. That's okay with us but Matt Damon says he's not signing on until he reads the script. Good idea, Matt.
