A Tribute to Gene Hackman

We've often heard Gene Hackman referred to as Hollywood's most famous "Journeyman Actor" - experienced, skilled, reliable but not brilliant. We agree with the first three characteristics but definitely not the fourth. In our humble opinion, his exceptional talent shines brightly in each in every one of his nearly 80 movie performances. Even when the movie he's appearing in is not so great, you can count on seeing at least one standout and nuanced performance. Sometimes the lead, sometimes the supporting character, sometimes the villain - always interesting to watch, please enjoy our Tribute to one of Hollywood's most versatile actors ... Gene Hackman.
