... that in Die Harder, the character of Trudeau was played by actor turned Senator Fred Thompson from the great state of Tennessee.

... that the Die Hard story and characters were based on a novel by Roderick Thorpe called Nothing Lasts Forever.

... Die Hard was Alan Rickman's screen debut. A very impressive debut - his evil terrorist character Hans Gruber is ranked #46 on the AFI list of greatest heroes and villains. Today he is best known as Professor Snape in the Harry Potter movies.

In the early 1960's, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce developed the idea of the "Hollywood Walk of Fame." The sidewalks of the most famous streets in the heart of Hollywood were lined with "stars" recognizing celebrities' life-long contributions to the entertainment industry.
