A Tribute to Vivien Leigh
Vivien Leigh is forever memorialized as the stunning, fiery Scarlett O'Hara, beating out leading ladies such as Katherine Hepburn and Paulette Goddard for the coveted part. While Gone With the Wind catapulted her to stardom and ensured her place in film history, her private life was far from glamorous. Vivien Leigh battled manic depression and tuberculosis, the latter which she succumbed at the age of 53. Winning two Oscars one for Gone With the Wind and the other for her portrayal of Blanche DuBois in A Streetcar Named Desire, she will always be remembered by her fans as Katie Scarlett. Please enjoy our Tribute to Vivien Leigh.
