Note to Keanu Reeves, when everyone knows how to pronounce your hard to pronounce name, when you star in a movie that is so successful that two sequels are made at once, when your fans are men and women, young and old . . . you have officially made it in Hollywood. We're never sure what genre we'll see him in next. He's played teenage slackers, action heroes and a Buddhist mystic. We can't wait to see where he will go from here and in the meantime please enjoy our Tribute to Keanu Reeves.

Coming Soon
Keanu Reeves is filming a remake of the sc-ifi classic The Day The Earth Stood Still. He is playing the alien Klaatu who comes to earth and tells us to shape up or else. Here is how Keanu says the movie is being updated.
"The first one was borne out of the cold war and nuclear détente. Klaatu came and was saying cease and desist with your violence. If you can't do it yourselves we're going to do it. That was the film of that day," Reeves explained. "The version I was just working on, instead of being man against man, it's more about man against nature. My Klaatu says that if the Earth dies, you die. If you die, the earth survives. I'm a friend to the earth."
Scheduled Release Date for this one is December 12, 2008.
New on DVD
Keanu Reeves's most recent movie,
The Lake House
, is now available on DVD.
