Julie Andrews Movie Favorites

Mary Poppins is practically perfect in every way. You've probably already seen this movie but gather up some children and watch it again.

The Americanization of Emily is a very different kind of war movie. It was written by Paddy Chayefsky and it has a lot to say on the meaning of heroism.

The Sound of Music is a classic movie musical and Julie Andrews gives the performance of her career as Maria. Listen to her beautiful, crystal clear, pure voice and be amazed.

An Alfred Hitchock movie that often is overlooked. Julie Andrews is the girlfriend of a rocket scientist who may be defecting to East Germany Torn Curtain.

If you like musicals, see Thoroughly Modern Millie. Julie Andrews, Carol Channing and Mary Tyler Moore and all the singling and dancing you can take.

Julie Andrews and her husband Blake Edwards made a movie about making movies. It's called S.O.B. and Julie Andrews is not sweet and saintly, she's topless and swearing!!

A woman pretending to be a man pretending to be a woman, that's what Victor/Victoria is about.

We're going to recommend The Princess Diaries because we like to see Julie Andrews wearing a tiara and being a Queen.
