Julie Andrews was a Broadway star long before she ever made a Hollywood movie. And when she did star in her first motion picture she not only won the Academy Award but gave us, Mary Poppins, a character that would live forever in the young and young at heart. Then Julie Andrews went ahead did it again with her depiction of Maria in The Sound of Music. We think these two movies are required viewing for a happy childhood. But beyond playing these classic roles, she has had a versatile career spanning forty years and we would like to document it here in Destination Hollywood's tribute to Julie Andrews.

Coming Soon
Here are some unlikely costars: Julie Andrews and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. The Tooth Fairy will feature Julie Andrews as a high ranking official in the Tooth Fairy Department who must supervise The Rock who is a hockey player who has knocked out a few teeth in his day.. He is somehow sentenced to work as a real life tooth fairy. This could be our favorite pairing of the year.
If pairing up with the Rock was not wonderful enough now we hear that Julie Andrews is going to be the voice of Steve Carell's EVIL mother (yes we said Julie Andrews and evil in the same sentence)in the animated 3D movie Despicable Me.
