We look at the career of Francis Ford Coppopla like this: Apocalypse Now, The Godfather Trilogy and Peggy Sue Got Married are so good that he gets an automatic get out of jail free card for Jack and One From the Heart. As the saying goes, even Babe Ruth didn't hit every one out of the park. That's why we think that instead of analyzing the merits of each and every one of his movies we should celebrate his accomplishments as the lead trailblazer for a whole generation of film school trained directors that got their start in the mid sixties. It's for this reason and so many more that we dedicate a Destination Hollywood Tribute to Francis Ford Coppola.
