Clint Eastwood Movie Favorites

Clint Eastwood played the Man with No name in this trilogy of spaghetti westerns: A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, The Good, The Bad and the Ugly.

If you want more Clint Eastwood western style there's Hang 'em High and then a little more light hearted, Coogan's Bluff the story of a cowboy in the big city.

Switch to Clint Eastwood in World War II uniforms in Where Eagles Dare and Kelly's Heroes. One will give you thrills and the other will give you laughs.

Before Fatal Attraction there was Play Misty for Me. A very good thriller.

Clint Eastwood dancing and singing in a musical Paint Your Wagon.

Dirty Harry for sure, the four sequels Magnum Force, The Enforcer, Sudden Impact, The Dead Pool for fans of violence and wisecracks.

He's not a cowboy, he's not a cop he's a professor and art collector, oh he's also an assassin. Beautifully shot in the Alps. The Eiger Sanction.

Every Which Way But Loose - We recommend it because Clint Eastwood plays a character named Philo Beddoe and his costar is an orangutan named Clyde.

Escape from Alcatraz - Good story, even better if you've gone on the real life tour in San Francisco, fantastic performance by Clint Eastwood.

He starred in it, he directed it, he produced it, he won the Academy Award for it, you should watch it - Unforgiven.

Three very different movies all made from books that we love for very different reasons: The Bridges of Madison County, Blood Work, Mystic River.

Million Dollar Baby watch a great movie and also listen to the music Clint Eastwood composed for it.

Escape from Alcatraz

Frank Horrigan ( In the Line of Fire ):

"White, piano-playing heterosexuals over the age of 50. There ain't a whole lot of us, but, uh, we do have a powerful lobby."
