We got our first glimpse of Bruce Willis as the wacky but hip David Addison in the 80's hit television show "Moonlighting." But the small screen couldn't contain his big screen-sized charm and charisma so right in front of our eyes he transformed himself into THE motion picture action hero of the last twenty years. Between big-budget performances he has sprinkled in an eclectic mix of off-beat roles and a smattering of comedy. We spotlight his many talents here in Destination Hollywood's Tribute to Bruce Willis.
Based on a graphic novel, Surrogates, Bruce Willis' newest movie is now in theaters. Here's the synopsis: FBI agents (Bruce Willis and Radha Mitchell) investigate the mysterious murder of a college student linked to the man who helped create a high tech surrogate phenomenon that allows people to purchase unflawed robotic versions of themselves-fit, good looking remotely controlled machines that ultimately assume their life roles-enabling people to experience life vicariously from the comfort and safety of their own homes. The murder spawns a quest for answers: in a world of masks, who's real and who can you trust? An unflawed robotic version of ones self. Where can we sign up for this? Our question has been answered. The viral marketing campaign has begun and we're on board. Here's where you can sign up for your very own Surrogate.
