Retiring sixty-ish Calvary captain Nathan Brittles (John Wayne) must make one last stand against local Arapaho Indians before he hands over the reins to a younger breed of officer in the second of John Wayne and John Ford's Calvary trilogy. A spectacular acting turn by Wayne makes this one of his best.
