The musical remake of the Katharine Hepburn/Cary Grant/James Stewart classic, The Philadelphia Story, is just as enjoyable as the original. The story remains the same. The second wedding of uptight socialite Tracy Samantha Lord (played here by the beautiful Grace Kelly) is interrupted by the arrival of her ex-husband (Bing Crosby) and two gossip magazine reporters (Frank Sinatra and Celeste Holm). Comedic antics (set to music) ensue.
"Mr Kittredge, it may interest you to know that our so-called affair consisted of exactly two kisses and one rather late swim both of which I thoroughly enjoyed and the memory of which I wouldn't part with for anything. After which I returned here, carried her to her room, deposited her on her bed and promptly returned here which you will no doubt remember."
In High Society, what is Dexter's nickname for Tracy?
