A Tribute to Laurence Fishburne

Laurence Fishburne was a working actor for more than twenty-five years before he became a star. He made nearly as many movies before one that he starred in became a bona fide hit. In other words, he paid his dues. Now's he's definitely on everybody's "A" List including ours. Please enjoy our Destination Hollywood Tribute to Laurence Fishburne.

New on DVD

Laurence Fishburne's most recent movie, Tortured , is now available on DVD.

What's New

The wait is over for Laurence Fishburne's first appearance on CSI. His character, Dr. Raymond Langston, is a former pathologist who is now a college lecturer studying why people turn violent. He joins the Las Vegas Crime Lab as a Level 1 after assisting in a murder investigation. Watching Grissom offer him the job in this clip, "... I t's an entry level position, the hours are terrible, the pay is bad . . ." makes us realize we're very happy to see Laurence Fishburne but we will be sad to see William Peterson go.

Coming Soon

Laurence Fishburne has two movies scheduled for release in the near future. Crime and violence seems to be the watchwords for both of them. Days Of Wrath looks like what we see on the evening news in LA every night ... gang members shooting each other and Laurence Fishburne's role seems pretty small. Here's the trailer:

We're much more exited about Armored (maybe because Matt Dillion is in it). This is a 2009 release about an armored car robbery.
