Laurence Fishburne was a working actor for more than twenty-five years before he became a star. He made nearly as many movies before one that he starred in became a bona fide hit. The wait is over for Laurence Fishburne's first appearance on CSI. His character, Dr. Raymond Langston, is a former pathologist who is now a college lecturer studying why people turn violent. He joins the Las Vegas Crime Lab as a Level 1 after assisting in a murder investigation. Watching Grissom offer him the job in this clip, "... I t's an entry level position, the hours are terrible, the pay is bad . . ." makes us realize we're very happy to see Laurence Fishburne but we will be sad to see William Peterson go.
