A Tribute to Swingers
This very successful and very low budget independent film tells the hilarious and sadly realistic story of a group of young men who live on the fringe of show business success but in the center of the hip LA night scene. They roam around town in packs, traveling from party to party in search of "beautiful babies." They are handsome, cool and proud to hang with the guy behind the guy behind the guy. Jon Favreau wrote the screenplay and turns in a suberb acting performance as well but the movie belongs to scene-stealer Vince Vaughn in his career breakout performance.
