Hannibal Rising Synopsis
Hannibal Rising is that latest installment in the Lector series but it is the first movie chronologically. This "prequel" is based on a novel by Thomas Harris, who also wrote the screenplay. It attempts to dramatize the events that led to the transformation of a orphaned boy into the barbaric monster that would be Dr. Hannibal Lecter.
