A Tribute to William Holden
He made nearly seventy movies over the course of his forty year career but surprisingly he didn't really enjoy his chosen profession nor did he feel he was particularly good at it. He was wrong about the last fact, though. He was quite good at what he did. Who can forget him, at his masculine and handsome best as the disillusioned screenwriter, the dashing playboy, the hopeless drifter, the determined POW ... we salute a very distinguished career in our Tribute to William Holden.

Despite rioting and upheaval in Kenya, the William Holden Wildlife Foundation continues to operate. William Holden felt the foundation was his greatest achievement. Today it is run by actress Stephanie Powers. This is a picture of the first Bongo born in Kenya as part of the Bongo Repatriation to Mount Kenya Program We think Sunset Boulevard was a great achievement but saving this little guy from extinction is pretty good too.
