Martin Scorsese's next movie is not scheduled for release until October 2009 so that gives you plenty of time to read the book that it is based on Shutter Island. It's written by Dennis Lehane author of Mystic River. The movie will star Leonardo DiCaprio as a US Marshal who is called out to the island to investigate the disappearance of a female inmate at a hospital for the criminally insane.

It seems like Martin Scorsese is also set to direct for television. He is in negotiations to direct a pilot for HBO. Broadwalk Empire is a series which tells the story of Atlantic City in the 1920's
