What's New

In 1962 Jimmy Stewart was part of the all star cast of How the West Was Won. The movie was produced in Cinerama and the theater audiences were enveloped in enormous images on three curved screens. When the film was transferred for home video viewers had to watch the west being won with ugly "join lines" which the film makers had to use between the original panels. They tried to disguise them with strategic placement of tree and lamp posts. It took six long years but the lines have now been digitally erased and the movie has been re-issued
