September 30, 2008 marks the 53rd anniversary of James Dean's death. For the last 33 years James Dean's hometown of Fairmount, Indiana has held the James Dean Festival in his honor.

This is a picture of a memorial service held at his grave site. Here's the agenda for this year's Festival. We're definitely adding this to our Celebrity Road Trip Itinerary.
