A Tribute to Clark Gable

"Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn." Eight words that forever define a character, a man and a legendary acting career. His distinguished masculinity and smoldering good looks were displayed to maximum effectiveness in every one of his movie roles but none so much as his classic interpretation of that quintessential Yankee carpetbagger . . . Captain Rhett Butler. They called him the King of the Silver Screen . . . we couldn't agree more. We hope you enjoy Destination Hollywood's Tribute to Clark Gable

DVD Spotlight

Clark Gable's most recent movie, Teacher's Pet , is now available on DVD.

What's New

In honor of Veterans' Day we would like to highlight Clark Gable's wartime service to the country. In 1942 after completing the Air Force officer training school Clark Gable was sent to England to make a training and recruitment film for aerial gunners. He flew on 5 combat missions and achieved the rank of Major. You can see clips from the film that he made including footage from an actual bombing run.

DH Suggests

Destination Hollywood Suggests this Tribute dedicated to one of Clark Gable's movies ...

A Tribute to Gone With the Wind

"Land, Katie Scarlett, is the only thing that matters," lectured plantation owner Mr. Gerald O'Hara. Well, okay, but we'd like to suggest that a Tribute to one of the most watched movies of all time is important too.
